I don't know any sterotypical hippies myself.
Most of the folks I know who were called hippies years ago are still involved with helping other beings on this planet. Some of us volunteer regularly at soup kitchens and food banks, some are working to help the environment or with animal rescue organizations or to empower victims of abuse by helping them become survivors... We're all doing what we can to make this planet a better place for our descendants.
We're still around; still the ripples of life, not the more well publicized tsumanis... We still believe that Good 
will overpower Evil.

Yeah, and some of 'us' have quietly infiltrated the Establishment, and wear 'coats and ties' (hey, not me!), and are well pre-positioned for when the -evolution arrives... Up against the Wall, (well, you know the rest)
