Voter registration is faster and easier than ever!

In the United States, voter registration is the responsibility of the people, and only 70 percent of Americans who are eligible to vote have registered. RegistertoVote.org is a nonpartisan organization committed to reaching the remaining 30 percent. We simplify the voter registration process, making it faster and easier for you to get involved and become an active voice in our democracy.

Note: After completing this online form you will be able to download your Voter Registration form. It will also be emailed to the email address you specify for convenience. Once received please print out your form and complete boxes 6 ( ID number - normally Drivers License number or last 4 digits of social security) & 9 (Sign the application) based on state-specific instructions included with the your Form. You must then mail the form to a state or local election office for processing. Uniformed service members and overseas voters should not use this form to register to vote. Instead, they should fill out the Federal Post Card Application, available at www.fvap.gov. Register to vote today and start exercising your right to make a difference.

you know they are still working on stripping people of the right to vote case in point a 96 year old who couldn't get a voter ID card in Texas .....  she did but only after it was brought to light that she'd voted all her life .....  but I also speak of those poor souls who are disenfranchised and abused by the system designed to oppress them even further ....

imagine the homeless vet living on the streets of Florida or some other such assbackwards state here is a man/woman who devoted themselves in the defense of their country only to find upon release into the general public that they have no place in it that they are in effect shut out because of their greatly diminished state not recognized  .....  its happening all over especially in the south where those in political favor suckle the titty of the government to the extent that it is the primary source of the income for such state ...

all I can say is that I see what they are about and shame on them for it .....  love the soldier hate the vet has been their rallying cry and is as much the same as love the fetus and hate the child is .....  we seriously need to ask ourselves what the fuck is wrong with us that we allow it .....  sad really really sad it speaks volumes about this country and what it says isn't very nice

so you see jufa its not just a simple matter of registering to vote as suggested its a matter of having all the paperwork in order to do so of whih none is provided free of cost to the homeless who are generally living hand to mouth ....  if you had to choose between getting clean and a hot meal in your tummy after some time without either I wonder would you choose chasing paper work for your $5.00 or food shelter and the basic comforts of humanity for a night????

already registered but thanks for the heads up

Yeah, so am I. And here in California, the state practically forces all citizens to be registered, because siging up is part of the process for getting your driver's license or state ID card renewed, paying your state taxes, applying for Medical or any kind of welfare, and a whole bunch of other forms of contact with the state government.
